About us
My name is Gabriel Henriques, I was born in Brazil, in São Paulo, and I've always been passionate about technology. Ever since I was a child, I would take apart devices just to understand how they worked. I graduated in Computer Engineering and started my career in technology companies in Brazil, where I learned a lot and grew professionally. In 2012, I decided to change my life and moved to Florida, in the United States. I wanted new challenges and also a quieter life.
Here, I started working at a technology startup focused on healthcare. At first, it was difficult to adapt to the language and culture, but over time I felt at home. Today, I'm a project manager and I love what I do. I live in Orlando with my wife and son. As well as work, I'm involved in the local Brazilian community and I love running - I've run a few marathons here. Florida has welcomed me very well, but I've never let go of my Brazilian roots. I'm grateful for everything I've experienced so far and I'm excited about what's yet to come.
